White Sandy Holiday

Hello, my husband and I are after the ultimate small island with white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue water holiday. Can anyone recommend a place where we can get that experience but with a room that is beachfront with villas but rooms that are positioned well away from other patrons? So if we want to enjoy our own private stretch of sand/water we can do so?
We have been to travel agents and searched for packages, but everything is miles too expensive. Anything we can get on a budget? Looking at Fiji or Maldives but open to other Pacific Island suggestions.

The nicest places to stay in the Pacific don't necessarily have the best beaches...

Since you say you are on a budget (villas are OUT OF YOUR RANGE), then opt for less luxurious surroundings and have your dream beach.

thanks for the tips to "please, get real" etc. I don't understand why so many people reply to people's posts with condescention/sarcasm. It's like other posts I've read where people are told to "please, get more specific". If we knew the "real" answers we wouldn't be asking. If we knew the areas we'd be more "specific". I've always used the thorn tree because it was helpful to find out stuff I knew absolutely nothing about. Almost daily I see first-timers questioning about their area of destination and getting slammed on the thorn tree for not knowing anything! Other than that, thanks for the useful tips.

Well, you say you don't want something "too expensive", yet you never specify what your budget range is. How can someone give you a specific recommendation if you don't supply this type of information? If not even one single travel agent came up with anything even remotely close, you are probably being unrealistic in your expectations.
