Working Holiday Visa

Country forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea

Hi,
I'm an American hoping to apply for a Working Holiday Visa to Australia. It's always been my dream to visit Australia (and people joke I won't come back, if only that were possible, lol) and over the course of many years every attempt has fallen through, notably, trying to study abroad. Low and behold, I discover the Working Holiday Visa, however I am pressed for time. One must be between the ages of 18-30 to apply and I turn 31 in November as well as they only issue so many a year. I am just curious if anyone else has applied online, not via paper, and have any tips on the application process. I've only managed to come across two accounts of other Americans' experiences with the online application process but I was hoping to find more. They make it sound too easy considering immigration's requirements and I'm waiting for the other shoe to fall. Any information would be greatly appreciated, especially pertaining to the certified documents that immigration requires. They make a big point of it if you apply by paper but not sure how they handle it via online, scanned uploads perhaps? Unfortunately, 99% of the info I come across is geared to non-Americans.

Thanks a bunch to everyone in advance!

Posted this in the wrong place but couldn't delete it, my apologies!!
