Mogethin, After some time, we are coming back to Yap. Despite the fact I have visited the place, there is still a lot to be discovered. I was wondering if you could provide me with little information as set forth. a) Do you know a village called Balakol (it may be mispelled)? There is supposed to be a path lined with stone money...I think it should be in a walking distance from Colonia. b) Could you please specify where the viewpoint in Colonia is? It is said it overlooks the nearby lagoons and the town. And how to get there? c) Could you please advise me on where, I mean in what village, we can find the first stone path in Yap? It is also near Colonia. d) Where can we find the governor's house? e) Where could we find the wrecks of the Zero planes? I hear its near the old airport. Is it easy to find them? I hope it is not much of annoyance to help with specifications of some of the sights as the information about them on the internet is very scarce. Merry Christmas to you, jirikoo
There is an informative and friendly tourist office in Colonia, which will answer all your questions. No need to worry too much. | 1
thanks for your reaction, i have dug more into it and research the questions by myself... i know the "informative" visitors office in yap...back in 2011, i called there two times (despite opening hours) before it was open on my third visit. at that time they could not answer my queries since the lady who was responsible for that was busy...eventually i was given a general booklet yeah, very informative :) | 2
