Funafuti Lagoon Hotel Booking

I am travelling to Tuvalu relatively soon, and I have been trying to book a room at the Funafuti Lagoon Hotel (previously the Vaiaku Lagi Hotel). Unfortunately, though, I have not managed to contact them successfully, despite having emailed and phoned them multiple times over the past week.

Has anyone had this trouble in this past, or can anyone please offer advice as to how to best contact them.

I understand that it should be safe to get a room once I arrive; however, I just want to be sure (there may be a conference on at the same time)!
