| nasturtian00:04 UTC01 Jul 2008 | I'll be arriving late 11.30 pm at Port Vila, and getting an early morning flight to Espiritu Santo, and wondered if anyone can recommend accommodation near the airport.
I'm also bit worried about being able to get transfers to accommodation so late at night.
Any recommendations or ideas?

| venezio20:01 UTC01 Jul 2008 | Don't have a particular recommendation, but you can take any hotel, since the town is small and the airport is 10 - 15 min. from any point in Vila.
I'm very sure there are taxis at 1130 pm; if not, just ask around to get a lift or make a call for a taxi.

We travelled to Vanuatu in April/May 2008 and spent a few nights in Efate.
We really recommend the ANABRU PACIFIC Lodge, located at only 5 min. drive from the Airport.
The rooms are like a small apartment with kitchen and separate bathroom ! Double room was 4800 Vatu
per night. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We even could leave a bag in between our stays when we travelled further to other Islands ! French and English spoken.
Nex door is a small local supermarket and there are taxis and minibuses on the road. We always took the local bus to go to/from Airport at 100 Vatu each !!! Have a good stay !

| roggie4501:57 UTC05 Apr 2012 | Also arrived late at Vila and, taking the advice of "volkske ", we booked into the Anabru Pacific Lodge.
We highly recommend the place: arriving at just after midnight, we were greeted by Lily who showed us to our room. It was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a bowl of fruit and two coconuts chilling in the fridge, ready to be cracked open.
It was good value at VAT4,900 (April 2012) and we found Lily and the staff helpful and friendly.
Recommend!
