Accomodation for medical students near NDHCountry forums / Pacific Islands & Papua New Guinea / Vanuatu
Hi There We are travelling from the UK in March to do our medical elective at NDH and wondered about cheap accommodation options for us near the hospital?
More info, please. What does NDH stand for? | 1
Whoops, doing a travel insurance claim (dislocated shoulder on sailing vessel), I can partly answer my own question. One receipt is headed 'NDH', so I'm guessing it either means National Department of Health for the whole of Vanuatu, or just the hospital at Luganville on Santo? If the latter, I can scratch up snippets of useful information. | 2
One possibility if it is Luganville would be ot check if the local Church of Melanesia (Anglican) church has a Rest House. They are often the most comfortable and relatively cheap places to stay. | 3
NDH=Northern District Hospital, at Luganville, Santo. | 4
