ATM machines near cruise terminal in Vila?

Hi all!

I'm taking a cruise to Noumea and Vanuatu next month, and don't plan to get any local cash until I get there on the assumptions that

a) I can easily find an ATM during our half-day stops in Noumea and Vila, and
b) I can get some local currency out using my Commonwealth Bank keycard!

Are these assumptions correct?

Yes, there are a couple of ATM's in Port Vila on the main road. But the cruise ships unload many people that all flock into town at the same time.
When I was there the ATM's were never out of money though, but then again I wasn't on a cruise.
