boat people

is it possible to travel by boat/ferrie beween vanuatu, fuji, tonga, rorotonga including others. not specifically in that order.

would like to travel this region but not so keen on flying island to island if i can help it.
also from your personal experiences what are the best months to travel?
any suggestions much appreciated.

There are no passenger services and most cargo ships won't take you either.
Sailing by yacht or cruise ship are the only real options besides flying.

The people I met that were sailing around the islands wouldn't recommend it. The distances are far and the seas are rough.

Even the short ferry rides within countries like Samoa can be pretty wild.
