| younggreynomad05:46 UTC01 Nov 2007 | Anybody got any recent experiences with Bokissa Island Eco Resort - I hear that its awesome now. We were there some 17 years ago when it had just reopened after being closed down for many years and it was just getting on its feet again - had a great time then.

We have "called" into the resort twice in the past eighteen months. First time, the Australian owner was basically friendly but not overly so. When we called by recently, to talk to one of her staff, she was very rude to us. Obviously they don't like anyone calling by. I checked out the accommodation whilst I was visiting the first time and was very impresse, especially when compared with Aore Resort where we stayed for one week last April. Bokissa had all the creature comforts: reading lights, hammock, beachchairs, good games area and library and I gather that the food is excellant.
