Camping in Vanuatu

cotswolds23:31 UTC02 Sep 2007	Hi, We've just returned from New Caledonia where a tent surely came in useful Is it possible to camp in Vanutu (except for Tanna) and has anyone done so lately? Do facilities exist or is it a question of 'asking at the guesthouse and being shown a piece of lawn'? Thanks!
Laszlo13:11 UTC03 Sep 2007	A few guesthouses around Efate, Santo and Tanna allow it, charging between 500-1000 Vatu, but in general it's far, far less common than in New Caledonia. There are no specific campgrounds that I know of, it was always a matter of camping at a guesthouse, and I never saw anyone else doing it.	1
