Cheap flights

I hope to fly to Vanuatu from Perth Aus. in April. Has anybody worked out the logic or cycle where airlines price their 'specials ' or cheaper flights? prices seem to go up or down depending on which day you view their site and from week to week!! Flying to Asia, prices are particularly volatile and can change by the hour.
What would the best days to book from and to Vanuatu?

Virgin and Air New Zealand stopped flying there due to concerns about the runway and Qantas stopped their code share with Air Vanuatu. You could still fly there with Air Vanuatu. They also may be re-doing the runway in March or April and I'm not sure how they will impact flights. Good luck.

Bummer!! thanks S A. I didn't know that. I'll have to find another Pacific island - any suggestions? it still leaves me with the conundrum of what day is best (cheapest)to fly anywhere?
