Cheapest or best flight options from Houston?

My Uncle lives in Vanuatu, the capital , and I wanted to go see him in November. I live in Houston and tried using SkyScanner which has always been my goto app to plan travel flights but it came up empty. Can anyone tell me where I should start?

I am pretty sure the cheapest way will be Fiji Airways from LA via Nadi to Vila.

kiwi.com will cobble together flights from different airlines for any pair of destinations. Note that they may not be on the same ticket, and there is a risk that you may miss a connecting flight. But still good to get a general idea about possible flights.

I think your best (cheapest) bet would be to fly via Fiji or Australia. I recently wrote an article about Tanna Island and Vanuatu that could help you figure things out :-)
