coconut palm resort

has anyone stayed at coconut palm resort looking at staying there next feb?

i will be over for 7 days any must do things? do i have time to get to another island as well as see port villa and around?

any tips appreciated thanks

Coconut Plams is a nice place with a swimming pool and decent enough meals. A 5 minute walk down a steep set of stairs to the main drag in vila. Hot and tiring on the way back up. You might also want to consider Nomads Backpackers which is brand spanking new and on the Lini Highway into the centre of town. If you're there for 7 nights I would def advise getting off Efate. Maybe head to Tanna to see the Volcano and experience kustom dances - its a very traditional island in places but also quite a lot of resorts cropping up. Or you could go to Santo to dive, visit the blue holes, champagne beach and the milenimum cave. Unity Park is a cheaper option there or Hotel Santo if you want a bit more up market.
