costs in vanuatu

just wondering if you can give me some idea of how much thing will cost on my trip to vanuatu trying to work out how much local currecny i need to take.

my accomodation in B&B staying at le merdian as a friend is getting married there

how much would dinner cost in hotel and out in town roughly?

and thing like coke, bottled water etc

Only spent a week in Port Villa last year. Prices were similar or more to what you would pay in Aust. Restuarants can be expensive considering there is no tax . However the local market is cheap. You can change money at Goodies which normally has the best exchange rate.There is also a Cafe next door with excellent food. The Vanuatu Yatch Club (turn right when you leave Goodies) is reasonably priced for refreshments and the cheapest takeaway beer. Have fun.
