Flights from Port Villa to Brisbane - Delays possible?

I've an International flight to catch from Brisbane leaving on November Fri, 23rd at 11:50pm. There's a flight getting into Brisbane on Fri at 6pm from Port Villa leaving me nearly 6 hours to get the connection if everything goes to plan.

Anybody know how risky this would be? How often are there delays to international flights in Vanuatu

I was in Port Vila airport yesterday. My flight was to Auckland which was delayed by 45 minutes because of a passengers medical condition. However the bad news for you is that while I was at the airport there was a tannoy announcement that the virgin flight to Brisbane was cancelled because of a mechanical problem.

This is just one incident and not a statistical log. It might have been a fluke.
