flouresnt plankton

hi all. im a diver and have been told there is a certain time of year that the flouresent plankton is so dense in vanuatu that it can make u feel like your lit up like god him/herself. was wondering what time of year this was. from memory it was may but i have forgotten.

I saw it in Solomon Islands in January. You need to watch the moon phases as well, as it is visible after dark, before the moon rises, after the moon is full and starts to wane.
