Is Air Vanuatu safe

Hi!

This summer ( Australian winter ) I will go also to Vanuatu. I have booked a couple of flights with Air Vanuatu. Efate, Tanna, Espiritu Santo and Ambrym east.
I have read a warning in the LP guide, is it safe to fly with air Vanuatu?

I flew with them in 2011 to Tanna Island (and back) without experiencing or hearing about any particular danger. In fact they were very helpful.

Air travel is safe! Air Vanuatu is no exeption. And why should it?...

I've flown with Air Vanuatu a few times, between Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands. Never had a problem. I haven't taken any inter-island domestic flights but they should be as safe as the international ones.

Air travel safety is about average for miles traveled. For time enroute it is the safest.

Also... commuter flights are higher risk.... highest risk is private aircraft... highest risk location in the US is Alaska....
