Ratua Island Resort for family trip

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone has recently stayed on Ratua Island. We are a family of two adults & two teenagers looking for a short summer break (approx. 8 nights) & after much research I (think) I have narrowed our destination down to Espiruto Santo.

We enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, cycling & exploring so my questions are:

1) Is there enough water craft e.g. kayaks/canoes on Ratua for the number of guests?

2) Is it easy enough to travel back across to Santo for a day trip?

3) Some of the package deals I have seen for Ratua include a meal package. Is it worthwhile including this?

4) Are there any villages to visit on Ratua?

And finally is there anywhere else people would recommend on Santo as an alternative?
