Time in Luganville?

I'm going to Santo next week for 10 nights. I'm wanting to split my time between staying at Lonnoc and Oyster Island. Is it worth staying in Luganville at all? maybe one or two nights to look around? or should I just get out of there as quickly as possible?

2 nights in town should be fine.
I found it pleasant enough and the few "sights" around could fill a relaxed day..

Thanks Laszlo, I've decided to stay one night in Luganville at the beginning and then assess whether I'll stay another night at the end of my trip.
