Tranportation in Tanna

We are planning a journey to Vanuatu in April. Would like to receive information about public transportation from airport to Sulfur Bay. and how to arrange transport to hotels and accomodation, Jungle Oasis for instance?

How to reahc villages like Yakel or Ipai?

You could check out Unity Airlines- it's an inter-island charter/tour service

They do volcano tours and they might even do a village tour if you ask them.

Getting to your accommodation is easy! Just book, and the bungalows will arrange a transfer for you.

There is no such thing as public transport on Tanna. Telephone ahead to your hotel for transport which will probably be the back of a pickup truck (500vt each). Jungle Oasis will have something arranged.

For Sulfur Bay, say to the driver you want Port Resolution which is nearby and gets more visitors. For Yakel you will either have to charter a pickup (about 3000vt) or latch on to a tour group.
