| lovebug02:41 UTC23 Jan 2007 | Hi All, I have booked a holiday to Vanuatu with my young baby who will be 5 months old when we go in March. I was wondering if anyone else has taken a small baby there, and was particulatrly interested if there are car seats for small babies available in taxis. From reading some of the other posts it appears taxi is the best way to travel but I am concerned about the baby not being strapped in!! Thanks for any advice/suggestions, Searra

| Laszlo11:14 UTC23 Jan 2007 | Definitely no "car seats for small babies available in taxis" in Vanuatu!
Or at least not in any of the taxis I have seen.
Remember though that you are headed to a slow-going tropical smalltown, not somewhere with dangerous, heavy traffic.
How about just holding that baby - unless you hire a taxi for a round-island tour, any taxi trip you can possibly take will be pretty short anyway.
