what sort of money to take?

Hi,
we're a family of four heading to Port Vila and Santo for two weeks and are wondering whether to bother with travellers cheques or just rely on the credit card and Australian dollars that we can exchange into VT as required. Any thoughts on this appreciated.

Just use the ANZ ATM in town or at the airport to withdraw vatu - at both Port Vila and Santo.

I always take some Aust. dollars as back-up.

Travellers cheques are becoming a thing of the past.
